Core Team

Dan Swan -  Founder & Principle Consultant

Dan heads up the team and is Itch Digital’s founder and principle Project Manager.

WIth over 15 years experience in the innovation industry, prior to founding Itch Digital, Dan worked throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and North America, gaining experience in a number of leadership roles from private business owner to Director of Business Consulting EMEA for NASDAQ listed technology companies. Now based in Australia, Dan has specialised in digital media and digital services across a breadth of cross-platform technologies and media integration. After working on many award winning high profile projects for NetworkTEN (Big Brother, Australian Idol), News Digital Media, Telstra, Sony Australia and FOXTEL, in January 2008 Dan became General Manager of the Wireless and Broadcast division at Hyro (ASX :HYO). Following Hyro Dan founded Itch Digital, also working with a number of media publishers in Australia and Asia. Dan has a Bachelor’s degree from Cambridge, a Masters degree in Interactive Media from Sydney and currently is a PhD Innovation Researcher for at CCi (ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation) at QUT.

Aga Cena – CTO, Technical Development Manager

Aga runs the development team and is the big brains for all things tech.

Aga has over 19 years experience developing large-scale mission critical enterprise applications for Fortune 50 companies and technology industry pioneers. As a Silicon Valley company founder and as a contractor to the likes of Netscape, AT&T, Pacifc Bell and Sony, Aga’s experience designing and managing technical solutions is equalled only by his personable communication skills and ability to lead teams of engineers.

Matt Poll – Senior Project Manager

Matt is a senior project management professional with experience in projects across various disciplines, geographies, cultures, and languages. He has delivered many large web projects in enterprise environments and managed creative and technical teams. His pragmatic approach to achieving outcomes and ability to lead project teams, manage stakeholders and communicate to all levels of an organisation guarantees project success.

Trevor Perry – Non Executive Chairman and Advisor

Trevor is Itch Digital’s key adviser and inspiration to the leadership team.

Trevor has more than 30 years of experience in financial services and IT, particularly in the Asia Pacific region. His last role was at Prudential Assurance where as Managing Director for Australasia, he oversaw the successful takeover of NZI in New Zealand and its integration with the local New Zealand Prudential operation. Prior to his Australasian position, Mr Perry was the Managing Director of South East Asia for Prudential, where he oversaw the establishment of representative offices in China and commenced the process for Prudential’s entry into Indonesia. At the time of Mr Perry’s arrival in Asia, Prudential was operating in three countries in the region with $300 million in funds under management.

Since leaving Prudential, Trevor has provided capital for a number of start-up organisations, becoming an “angel investor” for a broad range of technology companies. While encouraging strong and independently managed companies, Trevor continues to be active in a number of the investee organisations and maintains board positions for each.
